Welcome to Maikone Source. MS is a free 2D ORPG (Online Role Playing Game) creation system that gives you the ability to create your own world the way you want it. You don't have to have any knowledge in any programming to make a game. MS comes with a user-friendly UI that allows you to make your world with ease. However, if you want to add more to your game that the engine doesn't offer, you can program it in the engine yourself. MS uses Visual Basic 6.0 and uses the power of DirectX 8 to give you a powerful graphical engine. The engine is currently under development. Come stop by the forums, take a seat, and talk with others. It's all up to you.

If you are designing a game with the Maikone Source engine, we can host your server for those who cannot. However, the server right now is temporarily offline. I plan on purchasing a server and start hosting, but the thing is, it won't be free. But don't fret, as it wont be expensive either. Infact, when I get this up and running and the hosting service goes online, you will be amazed on how cheap it will be. Haha, stay tuned.

We are looking for some people to join the Maikone staff. We are currently looking for: > DirectX 8 Programmer > Graphic Artist (Tilesets, Sprites, GUI's, etc) If you are good at any of those listed up above, please contact us in the forums. We currently need a good Graphic Artist right now, so maybe you can help us out.
